Attempted theft of mobility scooter

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft of a mobility scooter took place on Broadmead avenue.

The attempted theft occurred between 1120am on the 5/9/2025 and 1000pm on  the 7/9/2025.

Did you witness anything? Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious? If so, then please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting ref: 25*531672 Alternatively you can report online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicles.

Secure your bike by looping a cable lock through the front wheel and then through a Sold Secure® Gold standard D lock or chain. Then attach bike to a bike stand or immovable object with the lock  Sold Secure - Security Product Testing & Approval
